What do you think music sounded like in Ribe during the Viking Age? Join us for a listening session, where our guide, Jens, will talk about, demonstrate, and play copies of musical instruments from the Viking Age.
Among other things, Jens plays a replica of a unique lyre dating from around the time Ribe was founded. Afterwards, you can explore the museum’s many original artifacts in the exhibitions.
Follow the music or stop by ‘Asgård’ at the Ribe Viking Museum. Jens is ready every Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. (break between 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.).
