Summer activities

Make jewellery out of tin

The craftsmen at the marketplace in the Viking Age cast lots of jewellery, as we know from finds that our archaeologists have dug out of the ground.
This summer holiday, our museum Viking, Jens, has got his moulds out.
On selected Tuesdays and Thursdays, children can join him in casting their very own Viking jewellery out of tin.

The activity has a limited number of places, so remember to buy an activity ticket at the ticket office.

Practical information:

  • Week 27-36: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-13
  • The activity takes place on the terrace by the café and costs DKK 40
  • Tickets can be bought at the front desk
  • Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult

Decorate with rune stones

During the summer holidays, you can make your very own rune stone at the museum.
