Access

Ribe Viking Museum opened in 1996. The museum has an area of around 2000m2 on several floors. There is handicap access to all floors of the museum via the museum’s elevator.

The museum has a handicap toilet and can also provide a wheelchair for guests with limited mobility.

In 2006, we began to collaborate with the Accessibility Label Scheme. We are now registered according to their requirements, and fact sheets for specific disabilities can be downloaded from their website.

Disability companion
The museum allows disability companions to enter for free.
